Los Gatos, Ca (PRWEB) September 8, 2006

Bow Wow Bootcamp announced today that they made their debut at the fourth annual Walk N Wag event, Saturday, August 19th, 8:30am to 12:30pm at Kelley Park. The purpose of this event is to raise money for the Humane Society Silicon Valley shelter as well as a day for fun activities and exercise. At the event, Bow Wow will be offering health and fitness advice as well as training tips to Bay Area dog lovers.

Bow Wow Bootcamp, the first veterinary recommended, Fitness Program created by a top fitness trainer to simultaneously provide a great fitness workout for pooches and their pet humans alike. If you and/or your dog need to lose weight or tone up, Bow Wow Bootcamp created two audio programs as well as live training and phone fitness coaching that are guaranteed to get a four paw review from your favorite furry friend!

With our ever-increasing, busy lifestyles, many of us dont take the time to exercise our pooches- let alone work out our selves. Yet, we know we need to do it, said Michelle Van Otten, President of Bow Wow Bootcamp. We know that sitting on the couch every night and eating junk food in front of the TV is not going to help us lose weight.

The host of Walk N Wag, Humane Society of Silicon Valley, HSSV, was established in 1929 and operates an open door shelter accepting all incoming animals, regardless of their health, temperament or age. HSSV promotes the bond between people and companion animals as well as eliminating the unnecessary euthanasia of loving pets. Bow Wow has entered into partnership with HSSV and will be donating three percent of our proceeds on an ongoing basis. The money is to better the lives of animals that are temporarily displaced, awaiting permanent homes. It is Bow Wows way of saying thank you for all of HSSV dedication and hard work.
